Indie publisher counts small wins

As a writer who is also an indie publisher any win is hard fought and often easily overlooked.

But me and my staff at Lily Ellen Publishing (me the CEO, me the Marketing Manager, me the Salesperson, me the Public Relations Officer, and me the Mailroom Clerk) are holding a private celebration of recent small wins.

#1 Lily Ellen Publishing’s one and only author (again, me) held a book launch with special friends, and it was a great privilege to speak as the author and for my audience to be engaged.

#2 LEP has had both its publications added to a library wholesaling service and recently received a trade order. Mind you, the numbers weren’t large but it felt as though our indie publishing company’s books had been noticed.

#3 LEP’s author (me) is scheduled for a Meet the Author afternoon tea at a local library at the end of November.

#4 Same author (me) with her books with some certainty may be appearing at a Christmas market. I’ll the the lady with a pile of books each with this cover beautifully designed by talented Illustrator Cathie Glassby.

Lily Ellen Publishing (me) sincerely thanks their faithful supporters – friends and family – without whom the effort would be overwhelming.
